Do any of these resonate with you?

  • Wanting to be seen as someone who has it all together on the outside but on the inside you feel scattered, insecure, and like an imposter

  • Like you aren’t always fully in charge of your thoughts or actions

  • A sensation that is deeper and somehow more hopeless than sadness

  • trouble concentrating and remembering daily tasks

  • Feeling like you will be in trouble or something bad will happen to you if you disappoint someone

  • Memories or past experiences that feel like they are happening to you in the present

  • Intrusive feelings and thoughts surrounding body image, food, and sexuality

  • Telling yourself you’re going to do it differently tomorrow and having it stay the same, or even feel worse

  • I ‘should’…

  • ‘If only it were’…

  • A wish to be with people while having anxiety or hyperawareness of what others may be thinking about you

  • Despair and panic

  • If any of these resonate with you, we may be a good match. I can support you with these things and more…

Our sessions will be:

  • Therapy is a relationship and a collaboration. Our work together individually or in a partnership or famiIy will be based around you. I’ll be there with you where you are, and I will meet you there. I work from the lens of Humanistic, Holistic, and Gestaltist frames which all ground on the relational. This will be established through the building of trust, safety, and the therapeutic container. I will always welcome you and all of your parts. I will never judge you.

  • Our work will focus heavily on the here and now. This means we will cultivate a whole lot of openness and curiosity for what is coming up in the moment- whether it be a pain in your neck, an irksome moment in traffic, or a past experience.

Above all, I believe in choice. Every single thing we do is an invitation. And in that, a way to work with boundaries. This is a place to firmly recognize your ‘no’ so you can experience the true meaning of your ‘yes’. I will offer work on mindfulness, somatic cues, self care, awareness, and more. It may be that one session we are exploring Internal Family Systems which is talking to different parts of self, and another session could be Gestalt based experiments. I will invite you to notice where you are in your body (when it feels safe to do so), offer questions about how you find your calm and power, and what is sparking the most need during session.

  • We all experience pain- it is a part of the human experience. Pain means you are an active participant in living. Suffering on the other hand is optional. I’ll work closely with you to identify triggers and how to support your nervous system. I will invite your parts to communicate and begin to build reliance and trust on your wise mind. I will support you in finding what your window of tolerance is; ways to recognize when you are out of it, and how to get back to a place where you’re thinking and feeling at the same time. All of this will be a combination of tools and modalities. We’re in it together.

“There are a million little heart breaks with every empty extended hand, every separation with someone or something that cannot meet us where we stand”. Toko-pa Turner
